Sizing
Customers are asked to bear in mind that vintage garment sizes bear little or no resemblance to contemporary sizes. Furthermore, current high street size labels are inconsistent, with M&S and Wallis being noted for their generous proportions while others come up on the small side.
Please always refer to the measurements provided in the item description rather than the garment label size, and note that any ‘best fit’ suggestion we make will be based on modern day sizing. By way of example, our own suggested standard size 12 dress has an underarm to underarm measurement of approximately 19" with a waist size of 30".
In order to best gauge the suitability of an item, you may find it useful to compare our stated measurements with those of one of your own garments which is a comfortable fit. Our garment measurements are taken with the item laid flat, and all sizes in our descriptions are approximate.

Need Help Dating Shoes
Hi there! I thank everyone in advance who helps me out! My name is Hannah and I need some help dating some shoes and finding out more about the brand/designer/whatever&#;s on the tag. I want to make sure they&#;re vintage and I guess I&#;m just curious. I can&#;t find much info on the shoes or brand, but there are a couple different Timothy Hitsman (the name on the tag) shoes listed on Esty. Overall, it&#;s unclear to me how old the shoes are and who Timothy Hitsman is. I suppose if I had to make a guess I would say they&#;re from the &#;s? I don&#;t know manI&#;m knew to this and I&#;ve only been alive since so I wouldn&#;t know any better.

Color: Metallic/ Shiny Gold Body with Translucent Heels and Gold Inner Lining
Materials: Unknown, Maybe Leather??? Not Completely Sure Not Listed on the Shoes (I have another pair of Timothy Hitsman heels with the same tag that are made of leather, so that kind of makes me think these might be leather as well)
Unique Features: The heels of the shoes are translucent and have 3 ridges on the inside of the heel
