Lee Taemin (이태민), also known as Taemin (태민), is the main dancer, vocalist and maknae (the youngest member) of the group. He was born on July 18, 1993 (age 18) and raised in Seoul. He was discovered at the "2005 S.M. Open Weekend Audition Casting". Taemin debuted as an actor as Lee Junsu in the sitcom Taehee-Hyegyo-Jihyun! (Korean: "태희혜교지현이!") and in 2011, played Kim Sung Jae on Moon Night 90 with group member, Key. He was also chosen to dub the Korean version of "Koala Kid", an animated children's film, as Johnny, a white koala with Girls' Generation's Sunny who dubbed Miranda, a gray koala. He replaced fellow member, Minho in Let's Go Dream Team! Season 2 due to the latter's injuries. He will compete in the show Immortal Song 2 starting in January 2012.

Introduction
SHINee is a South Korean boy group originally consisting of five members. They are widely recognized as one of the leaders of the 'Hallyu' or Korean wave. Under the management of SM Entertainment, the five members—Onew, Key, Taemin, Minho, and the late Jonghyun—made their official debut in 2008 with their debut single "Replay," propelling them to stardom and eventually becoming trendsetters in South Korean music and even fashion.
