RJ Fenske was born in Rockville, Maryland. He has Indian, Norwegian, and German ancestry.
From an early age, Fenske became involved in acting, appearing in the film Bubble Boy when he was still a teenager. The film also featured Ever Carradine and Stephen Spinella. After that, he appeared in TV shows like Lizzie McGuire, CSI: Miami, Boomtown (with Mykelti Williamson, Lana Parrilla, and Frank John Hughes), and Threat Matrix (with Anthony Azizi).
