    Florence, usually referred to as "Flo", portrayed by Susan Shalhoub Larkin, is a recurring character in the first, second, and thirdseasons of Stranger Things. She is the secretary of the Hawkins Police Station.

    On the morning of November 7, Florence sarcastically greeted the Chief of Police Jim Hopper when he arrived late to work. She then proceeded to tell him about Joyce Byers' missing son, but he showed little concern.

    After investigating the Byers' backyard shed, Hopper urged Callahan to call Flo to organize a search party.

    While the police were searching at the quarry, Flo notified Hopper of a call from Benny's, urging him to head over to the diner.

    After Jonathan's arrest, he and Nancy were taken to the police station. As Flo was getting her some ice, Nancy asked how long they would be there. She stated that Nancy would be released soon, but her "boyfriend" would stay a lot longer as he had assaulted a police officer.
